Want to join me in my mission to create a more equal world?
I am dedicated to empowering individuals—especially women and multicultural communities—through science and well-being. As someone who proudly embraces my multicultural identity, born and raised in Stockholm with Bengali roots, I feel a deep connection to the Järva area, having grown up in the suburbs of Rinkeby and Kista. Supporting this region is particularly close to my heart.

My passion for science began early. At 17, I started conducting research at Karolinska Institutet, and at 18, I earned a scholarship to attend the prestigious Research Science Institute at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard Medical School.
I pursued my passion for science further, earning a B.Sc. in Biomedicine from Karolinska Institutet, the institution responsible for awarding the Nobel Prize. To bridge the gap between science and business, I completed an M.Sc. in Intellectual Capital Management from the School of Business, Economics, and Law at Gothenburg University. I also complemented my academic journey with studies in Gender Studies and gained valuable insights through my work as a social entrepreneur, resulting in a unique transdisciplinary background.

With over a decade of experience in the life sciences industry, I currently work at Perrigo, the world’s largest over-the-counter pharmaceutical company, focusing on sales and Diversity & Inclusion initiatives at both the Nordic and global levels.

I am passionate about connecting people and building communities. In addition to being a member of several of Sweden's most exclusive talent networks for business professionals, I have founded multiple networks that foster collaboration and empowerment.

My latest initiative is We Listen In (WLI), a not-for-profit organization focused on empowering multicultural women to achieve better mental health. WLI is unique in Sweden’s mental health landscape: our board consists entirely of multicultural women, and we are the first in Sweden to address bicultural stress—the stress experienced by multicultural individuals navigating different cultures. We also explore the concept of "inbetweenship" (mellanförskap), a key focus of our work. As a part of We Listen In I am also passionate about creating a more inclusive outdoor and fitness community in Sweden.

Beyond We Listen In and my role at Perrigo, I run my own consulting firm, SR Consulting & Invest, where I offer lectures and project management services, particularly in event planning.
Having been part of Stockholm's entrepreneurial and venture capital scene, I’m keenly aware of how few female-led startups exist. That’s why I became an investor in RadCap, an investment firm dedicated to creating more equitable ownership in society.

I’ve been recognized as one of the future leaders in Healthcare & Life Sciences by Nova and as a Change Leader—a role model and inspiration for others—by Reach for Change, one of Sweden’s most prominent organizations supporting social entrepreneurs.
