Outdoor Adventures & Fitness
Merging Passion, Health, and Empowerment

The outdoors has always been my sanctuary—a place to snowboard, surf, hike, dive, climb, camp, kayak, run and longboard. It’s where I feel most connected to nature and myself, embracing the joy and challenge of being active. I also balance these outdoor pursuits with strength training, yoga, and dance, which ground me and nurture my physical and mental well-being. These activities are not just hobbies; they are a vital part of my lifestyle, building resilience and fostering a sense of purpose.

With my background in biomedicine and mental health, I’ve seen how access to physical activity and time in nature can profoundly improve health outcomes, reducing stress and enhancing overall well-being. However, in Sweden, many outdoor sports are often seen as exclusive spaces, heavily influenced by traditional, white Swedish norms. These barriers—whether cultural, economic, or societal—limit participation, especially for multicultural women from suburban areas.

Through my nonprofit, We Listen In, I am dedicated to changing this. I want to empower multicultural women to explore the outdoors, recognizing it as a pathway to both physical and mental health. My goal is to lower the barriers that prevent these women from experiencing the joy of sports they did not grow up with. I want to create inclusive spaces where everyone feels welcome in nature or within sports with few multicultural practitioners, bridging the gap for communities that might otherwise feel excluded.

My vision is to contribute to a more equitable outdoor and fitness culture in Sweden—one where everyone feels at home in nature, at the yoga studio or at the climbing gym, and where the joy of adventure is shared by all. Together, we can create a movement that fosters connection, health, and empowerment for everyone.

I take on assignments through both We Listen In, where we arrange activities for our members, and through my consulting firm, SR Consulting & Invest, and I am always open to new collaborations.
